Responsibilities

• Coded in Android Studio using Java to develop the android application for HuffPost SA in order to fulfil business requirements.
• Implemented code and performed various changes to the backend service responsible for providing the application with data. This was a .NET service. This work specifically relates to web page scraping in order to provide the mobile application with the correct data.
• Performed maintenance and implemented improvements to the project to fulfil the development requirements set out by business. This is inclusive of bug fixes.
• Responsible for performing android application releases to the Google Playstore in order to deploy and release updates to our user base.
• Reviewed peers coding to ensure quality and stability of the product.
